Ticketing Assistant (Christmas temp)

The King's and Theatre Royal are seeking enthusiastic team players to join our Ticketing team over the festive season.

With the magical festive season ahead, the King's and Theatre Royal are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Ticketing team. You'll be joining us for the legendary King's Theatre Panto, 'Jack and the Beanstalk' and the smash hit musical, 'We Will Rock You' at the Theatre Royal as well as other shows over the lead up to and post-Christmas. 

Please note flexible availability is required including the possibility to work on Christmas Eve, Boxing Day and New Year's Eve. You must also be available to attend 2 paid inductions prior to commencing employment currently scheduled for 13th and 15th November.

The Ticketing team are responsible for providing a high level of service to over the counter customers. The ideal candidate will be able to maximise sales and audience attendance through effective customer care. 

You will be able to engage with the public to proactively sell tickets, packages and memberships. In addition to contributing ideas and practical assistance to fulfil Marketing strategies. 

Candidates must be able to provide accurate product/venue knowledge to all customers in order to satisfy customer needs and to maintain an up-to-date customer offers folder. 

Previous cash handling experience is advantageous to this role as you must be able to administer all payments accurately in order to minimise loss, as well as being responsible for cashing up personal sales at end of shift.
