Gallery Front of House Coordinator
The visual arts are crucially important to Barbicans success. The Art Gallery is dedicated to the presentation of exhibitions covering modern and contemporary art, design/architecture, photography and fashion, whereas The Curve is devoted to the commissioning of large scale site specific installations by contemporary artists. The Barbican aims to serve both artists and audiences and excels in the presentation of exhibitions that are thoughtful, curatorially, ambitious and often focus on timely reassessments and inter-disciplinary practice. In addition, the Art Gallery also curates installations beyond the walls of the galleries, both within the Barbican Centre and off-site.
