This exciting project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) will focus on the heritage of electronic music via the works and archive of Delia Derbyshire (1937-2001). Delia was an electronic music pioneer whose archive is housed at John Ryland Library in Manchester. It would have been Delia's 80th birthday on 5 May 2017. To mark the occasion, we have devised a programme of enjoyable engagement opportunities and public events. This project aims to unlock and explore the heritage of electronic music through engagement and participation in the arts.
To deliver this project we are looking to recruit a temporary freelance part-time position of Project Manager. A flexible approach to working days is required depending on the project schedule and will involve working some weekends and evenings (for events).
