Junior Graphic Production Designer





Primary Responsibilities
A Junior Graphic Production Designer uses software to upload and ensure accuracy of design files in the latter stages of development. Production designers use their expertise in design and computer applications to review final designs and layouts. He or she will work closely with the Senior Graphic Design Manager and Creative Director to come up with cutting edge and innovative design solutions using the resources that are available. CANDIDATE WILL ONLY BE CONSIDERED IF THEY ARE PROFICIENT IN ADOBE CREATIVE CLOUD (Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign). This designer should be able to multitask, work well with others and communicate effectively. Finally, this candidate should be an extremely motivated individual who gets the job done in a timely fashion.

Specific responsibilities
•Works under Senior Graphic Design Manager to develop graphics for various cosmetic brands by analyzing planograms and assortments to be included in renderings and when comping prototypes
•Works with creative team and engineering to check client graphics for proper fit
•Layout, print and hand cut graphics
•Oversee that all client files for print are camera ready and create overviews for our printers.
•Design/layout silk screen art and release print-ready files to production
•Other technical duties may include scaling, cropping, retouching, repositioning and preflighting, or eliminating defective and excessive imaging
•Use extensive problem solving skills to create original and innovative solutions
•Able to work in small teams with a great deal of communication to create and improve designs
•Good knowledge of the P.O.P & Cosmetics Industries

•B.S. in Design or related field
•2 + years of experience in Production Graphics
•Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign)
•Great at understanding directions, communicating and organization
•Must be able to comprehend engineering drawings to the industry standard
•Good knowledge of working with different printing methods and materials and general construction
•Flexibility to adapt to deadlines, changing schedules, priorities, and unpredictable events within a fast- paced manufacturing environment.
