Self Portrait Made By My Voice

An exploration into the fundamental aspects of portraits and a drive to experiment with traditional photographic techniques. These are life size photograms of the artist created using a volume sensitive bulb; the louder the noise, the brighter the bulb. The artist creates a self portrait by speaking a description into the microphone connected to the bulb, which in turn exposes the photographic paper behind. the remaining shadow is wholly unique in each photogram as the artists moves and speaks in a different manner with each exposure.
