Fanglue Creative is looking for a full-time project officer to join its international department. Responsibilities are wide-ranging, mainly focused on cultural projects for families and children. We welcome candidates with diverse skillsets to apply, particularly those with interest and experience in education, events and/or marketing. Specific job responsibilities will be set according to strengths and interests of individual applicants.
Our main projects include:
- China Children's Book Expo
- 798 International Children's Art Festival
- Art+798 Arts & Reading Centre
- Art+798 Online Arts Education Platform
Responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining relationships with partners (e.g. embassies, cultural centres, art organisations, schools)
- preparing PR and promotional materials in Chinese and English
- organising and attending meetings to discuss cooperation with a range of partners
- preparing cooperation proposals and managing projects from concept to realisation
- on-site events coordination
- light translation / interpreting work
- contributing to development of site and graphic design for events
Additional Responsibilities
- planning and producing content for online education platforms (e.g. videos, workshops)
- developing arts curriculum
- coordinating artists and teachers for events
- teaching art workshops
- creating content for Chinese and overseas social media accounts (WeChat, Facebook, Instagram)
- managing overseas social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn)
Candidate Profile:
- Fluent in English and Chinese (other languages a bonus)
- Flexible with a can-do attitude
- Experience in organising cultural events
- Independent and eager to learn
- Enthusiastic and confident communicator
- International network of potential future partners is a plus
Details:
Office location: 798 Arts District
Salary: negotiable, dependent on experience and background
Working hours: Mon-Fri, 9-6 (some holidays and weekends for events)
Z Visa supported for full time position
