Artnet is the leading international platform to buy, sell, and research art online. We connect millions of collectors globally with the world’s leading galleries and auction houses, with a focus on making the art market more transparent while supporting our partners in growing their business online.

We are seeking a full-time, French-speaking gallery liaison to join the Client Services and Account Management Team in our Berlin office. As a gallery liaison, you will form and develop client relationships by maintaining the member gallery sites hosted on our network, provide friendly and effective product and technical support to clients calling in to the main support line, and coordinate advertising campaigns. Communicating with clients daily, you will play a crucial role in keeping them engaged and ensuring their success on our platform. 

You will report directly to the senior manager of the Gallery Network, working together as Artnet leads the way in the art industry.


  • Build and maintain 100–120 gallery member sites
  • Form relationships with clients to better serve their experience and help them grow their business online
  • Provide clients with an exceptional customer experience through friendly and effective product and technical support 
  • Assist users with online transactions to ensure seamless billing 
  • Track all significant client activities on a daily basis in order to retain existing clients and refer opportunities for new and existing clients
  • Coordinate advertising campaigns for gallery members and other advertising partners
  • Report any site issues or bugs to the Research and Development Team
  • Collaborate with the Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Collections departments
  • Edit Artnet’s artist database by adding or updating artist information
  • Edit artwork images to client’s specifications when necessary for optimal online image quality
  • Help improve our products and services by contributing ideas regularly
  • Attend openings, art fairs, and other events (in accordance with Germany’s Covid19 social distancing guidelines) when necessary to foster relationships within the arts community *not required for the time being
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned


  • Bachelor's degree or higher in art history, fine arts, or arts administration
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in the art world
  • Proficient knowledge of PC platform, Microsoft Office, and Google docs (emphasis on Excel)
  • Basic comprehension of HTML and image editing 
  • Ability to multi-task and self-motivate with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to new tasks and take on new responsibilities as needed
  • Professional and pleasant phone and email etiquette
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Full working proficiency in French language, native speaker preferred 
  • Demonstrate excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Ability to identify potential risks and opportunities, and escalate them in a timely manner
