R&D Product Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Product development from conceptual design to production
• Market research / Patents search / New component & material research
• Engineering test / Benchmark samples analysis
• New ideation (Brainstorming / concept sketch)
• Technical problem solving /Product construction design
• Preparing 3D design drawings / Prototype evaluation
• Need to manage multi-projects to meet deadlines
• Reporting to the team manager, responsible to collaborating with designers, different department and vendors in support of new product development

Job Requirements:

• Higher Diploma / Degree / Master in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering/Product innovation or related disciplines
• Minimum 4 years working experience of product development in electrical appliances or related industry
• Proficiency in 2D & 3D modelling software: Creo, Solidworks, AutoCAD
• Good in Microsoft Office for preparing product presentation/research PPT, test report, analysis document/excel file
• Knowledge on product manufacturing, plastic molding, electrical & electronic component, electrical safety standard
• Strong communication, visual and oral presentation skills
• Product rendering skill (e.g. Keyshot) & video editing skill (e.g. Power director, iMovie)  are an advantage
• Good spoken and written English and Chinese (An added advantage in Mandarin)
• Travel to China office is required for 1-2 days per week
• Oversea applicant is also welcome
• Less experience may consider as junior position engineer or trainee
