Stage Door Receptionist

The Alexandra is a busy receiving house in the centre of Birmingham, which has just undergone a £650,000 refurbishment including a brand new façade and full corporate rebrand. What makes us different? We believe the show isn’t enough. An amazing visit to the theatre for us isn’t limited to the customers coming to watch a show, we strive to ensure visiting companies and productions have an incredible experience with us from start to finish.

Our Stage Door Receptionists are accountable for safety and security within the theatre and are the first point of contact for our visitors. You will be part of a customer focused team and will be responsible for communication within the venue, involving the welcoming of actors and visitors, operating the telephone switchboard, and providing support for a number of functions of the theatre.
