Arnolfini is Bristol’s International Centre for Contemporary Art. It provides a venue and platform for many art forms with a strong focus on contemporary visual arts and a commitment to being open and accessible to all. Arnolfini will be 60 years old in 2021 and in recent months we have redesigned the organisation as an independent charity that is part of the University of West of England, Bristol. Arnolfini is located in Bush House, on Bristol’s iconic harbour side and now forms an integrated part of the university’s city centre campus. Arnolfini is a contemporary arts centre with an international reputation for visual arts, a multi-purpose 200 seat theatre/ auditorium, a busy community and education programme, a successful specialist independent bookshop, thriving café bar (operated by Bristol Beer Factory) and a range of studio and office spaces.

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to be responsible for the provision of HR including recruitment, administration, company policies and procedures. Arnolfini has 20 current permanent and casual staff members, and we are in the process of increasing our workforce.

Your experience within a similar position will lead to your success in this role. You will demonstrate a thorough understanding of employment law, have an in depth knowledge of HR process and procedures. You will have managed your own case load and be a confident communicator with the ability to engage at all levels. You will have experience of working with an HR system and be proactive and a team player.
