Artistic Director

About you 
You are likely to have a clear artistic vision, and know how to get the best out of a creative team. You will be inspired by both creating ambitious art in public spaces, as well as the impact it can have on participants and audiences. The post is offered part-time as you might have other commitments on your time. Alternatively, if you feel able to be full-time with us we can consider it. 

As Artistic Director you will provide inspirational leadership, a bold and relevant artistic vision, strategic direction, a safe and inclusive environment for staff, partners, participants and audiences. Together we’ll make our shared, bold ideas about diversifying the sector a reality and carefully manage the long-term financial stability and growth of EEA.

Your job is to have fantastic, creative ideas and know how to attain them. You’ll set the artistic direction, vision and positioning of the company and optimise the company’s existing and future creative assets.

Responsible for: Line management of Creative Producers, Senior Production Manager, supervision of freelance project managers, directors, designers and freelance workers 

Reporting to: Executive Director & Co Chairs of the Board of Trustees
