External Evaluator

Pedestrian are seeking to commission an External Evaluator experienced in the fields of the Creative Arts sector, Musical Inclusion and working with Young People in challenging circumstances) to monitor the impact of our ‘Perfect Score’ music and music career’s project against our aims and intended outcomes.

PERFECT SCORE brings together in partnership: The Leicester Music Education Hub (LMEH), Curve Theatre and Pedestrian to raise awareness of careers in music, develop talent in a range of styles and genres, and to promote progression into varied music careers including participatory delivery.

The External Evaluator will liaise directly with Pedestrian’s Project Manager, Kate Rounding. We envisage the role will include the following tasks and responsibilities.

• Liaison with the Project Manager in developing an evaluation plan
• Observe a number of workshop sessions from January to March 2019
• Host consultations with organisational staff, artists and young people
• Provide an interim report, providing feedback on year 1 of the project and the Young People’s Music Careers Conference (March 8^h 2019), and which supports the development of the year 2 programme.
• Observe workshops and host consultations through the 2019 to 2020 programme of work.
• Preparation and submission of a final evaluation report for funders
