Cover Senior Assistant

The Phoenix Theatre is a busy musical house in the heart of London and is looking for a cover Senior assistant to join our team at this exciting time during our run of the Olivier winning Musical ‘Come From Away’. 

 

We are looking for an ambitious, creative and intuitive individual to join our team as a Cover Senior Assistant. You will be responsible for supporting both, our talented Front of House team and Senior Assistants towards our key performance targets. The ability to deliver top quality customer service is paramount in this position where you will lead by example in setting and maintaining the highest standards throughout our operation.

Key Responsibilities

• To lead and motivate our Front of House team on a daily basis from within, inspiring them towards delivering a top quality customer experience.

• To support our Senior assistants in working to increase food and beverage sales throughout the venue by taking an active role in driving sales on all available opportunities.

• To ensure all cash handling procedures are strictly adhered to, complete regular cashing up of staff and keeping precise records of Floats.

• To develop a strong understanding and assist in ensuring the venue meets key performance targets including Spend per Head, Mystery Shopper results and Stock Accuracy.

• To demonstrate the skills needed to ensure the accurate completion of administration duties including: preparing and issuing monies and stock, recording staff absence and lateness, controlling stock levels. 

• To ensure that Health & Safety requirements are met and Policies and Procedures are adhered to.

• To be a positive ambassador for both the venue and ATG as a whole, leading by example and consistently setting high standards when as an usher or Cover senior Assistant.

• To be able to work on own initiative and as a part of a team

• To be able to demonstrate as an usher a strong understanding of expectations and help the team continue to develop the highest standards through team work and peer to peer learning 

 

Desirable Qualities

• Previous experience leading a team

• Positive and motivated outlook

• First Aid at Work trained

• Desire to progress up through the Company
