Gallery Manager / Sales Manager

We are looking for a gallery manager / sales person for a busy east-end art gallery. The role is primarily a sales and administrative position so excellent organisation, communication and computer skills are required as well as exceptional customer service. Being sales-driven is essential. The position involves exhibition installation and full training will be given.

We are looking for someone confident, organised and efficient who is capable of using their own initiative.

You will be in charge of a small team and responsible for liaising with artists, reaching sales targets and ensuring the success of the events held at the gallery. We do not necessarily require previous experience in the art world.  We are looking for someone with the right sales and people skills and can achieve a high standard of customer service.

This is a full time position with a starting salary of £18,000, Plus a good bonus incentive on achieving sales targets. As part of a small team, we do ask for flexibility and adaptability regarding responsibilities and working hours, as you will be required to work on Sundays and be available on some evenings for preview events.

Salary: £18,000.00 to £22,000.00 /year
