Summary

This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape and deliver Historic England’s brand strategy. You’ll support the Head of Marketing in the development and delivery of strategic plans for the brand, including a review of our visual identity and audience segmentation. You will also play a vital role in the delivery of high-profile marketing campaigns.

The opportunity will be based from our London office but home working is currently required during COVID-19.

What you’ll be doing:

You will support the expansion of an audience-led approach to public engagement across the organisation underpinned by a strong brand proposition and in-depth customer insight. In this role you'll work collaboratively within the Public Engagement Group and across the organisation to develop and deliver brand and marketing activity that is inspiring, relevant and impactful.

This role has management oversight for a small team with marketing, design and photography responsibilities.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Significant experience in developing, implementing and evaluating highly effective marketing strategies and campaigns which have built awareness, audience engagement and behavior change
  • Strong creative judgment and ability to encourage excellent visual output and translate brand proposition across different platforms.
  • Significant experience of working at a management level in marketing within a high profile or innovative brand
  • Experience of managing brand and proposition development, overseeing awareness building and monitoring
  • Experience of successfully managing and motivating a high-performing team
  • Demonstrable experience in leading audience development and market research programmes
