We are a contemporary African art gallery looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working new member of the team.

The role advertised is a part-time (often remote) job of social media coordinator.

The job will focus on maintaining and growing our social media accounts as we move into a new stage for the gallery.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is confident and efficient, loves art, and (proven to be) great with social media and online interactions and engagement.



  • Creating and sourcing content for our social media
  • Looking after our social media accounts across Instagram and Facebook on a day-to-day basis
  • Track and share trends
  • Commitment to growing our brand through social media
  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content
  • Interact and make connections with our customers
  • Monitoring, tracking and analysing our own social media performance
  • Create marketing plans and strategies for social media and future campaigns


Skills Required

  • A strong interest and passion for art and all things creative
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work effectively under pressure
  • IT literate including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Go-get attitude
  • Previous experience with social media coordinating
