UX Designer at Hero

The role:
Were seeking a brilliant and highly-motivated UI/UX Designer to help us lead design innovations in the field of conversational shopping. Based in London, youll make an impact from day one, working closely with a dedicated team of engineers and reporting to the Head of Design. Focused on designing products to be used by millions of shoppers and thousands of in-store associates across the world, youll be a powerful creative force comfortable looking at the bigger picture while focusing on detailed design execution.

What were looking for:

- Driven by a purpose, you have a desire to build something meaningful and innovative
- Youre a talented designer with experience in designing + iterating customer facing digital products, especially across mobile and tablet platforms.
- 2+ years experience of design in a commercial environment, ideally at a startup or tier-1 digital agency
- Youre passionate about branding, communication and storytelling.
- Youre as comfortable with offline graphic design, and love to see your work applied across every touchpoint, from marketing collateral to swag
- Someone who excels when working with engineering teams in the execution of their vision, and lives and breathes the latest in design trends and UI conventions.
- Youre a pro when it comes to understanding a design brief, extracting meaningful insights from real users and analysing data to inform product design decisions.
- You can operate in an an agile environment with a small team, whilst also helping to shape process as the company grows
