Stage Manager

The Opera House is a large-scale historic theatre located at the heart of Manchester city centre. It hosts over 250 performances a year, focusing on work from leading UK and international producers. Alongside spectacular West End and Broadway shows the theatre is home to drama, classical and contemporary dance, live music, comedy and one night specials. We work increasingly in partnership with producers to open or launch new productions and tours.

We are looking to a recruit a Stage Manager who will manage the stage department, ensuring that the requirements of the visiting company and the venue are met.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a stage department in a large theatre with line management responsibilities and strong administrative and organisational skills, alongside excellent working knowledge of the health and safety legislation and the ability to meet deadlines whilst working well under pressure.
