Milton Keynes Theatre, located in the heart of the city, is consistently one of the most successful receiving house venues in the UK, with a capacity of 1400. We host a vibrant programme of touring productions such as ‘Les Miserables’, ‘Matilda’ and The National Theatre’s ‘War Horse’; as well as comedy, dance, music and community performances.

Creative Learning and Community Partnerships is a dynamic department that delivers a high quality programme of award winning cultural education, which is locally driven, with national significance! The team are embarking on a new invigorated strategy, which is driven by focus on IMPACT, INNOVATION & COMMUNICATION.

The Creative Learning & Community Partnerships Freelance Dance and Music Practitioners will join our pool of excellent artists & practitioners in the delivery of an exciting upcoming programme. We welcome interest from teachers of all genres of dance including, but not limited to: contemporary, jazz/modern, musical theatre, ballet, latin/ballroom, street and tap. We are particularly seeking someone who can deliver weekly adult tap classes as part of our expanding programme of work. We are also looking for singing teachers and vocal coaches to add to our team.

You will work with our team in the capacity of a Freelance Practitioner, supporting our commitment to successful working partnerships with visiting production companies, local arts organisations, businesses and schools, which feed-in to the development of our wide ranging programme of work. We are also launching a new weekly youth dance class that will offer a range of styles each year.
