Set to open its doors in 2020 following a multi-million-pound refurbishment, Stockton Globe will bring the world's biggest names in music and comedy to the North East. This is the latest venue to join the Ambassador Theatre Group’s growing portfolio and presents an incredible opportunity for an ambitious, results-driven marketing professional to make their mark on a brand new business.

The Head of Marketing & Communications will be one of the first appointments to the new team, ideally joining us in February 2020. This is a critical role in driving the impact of ATG’s marketing and communications and is pivotal to our long-term growth strategy. You’ll be responsible for driving ticket sales and other revenue through effective, efficient campaigns and increasing the media profile and footprint of the venue and its shows. 

It’s vital that you can make the most of marketing intelligence to target your work for best impact and know how to develop local relationships and initiatives that complement our national marketing infrastructure. You’ll be supported by your in-house team plus various specialist ATG teams, including Data, CRM, Revenue Management and E-commerce, who will work with you to achieve these goals.

Able to secure the trust of Producers and respect of clients for long-term success. 

Considerable experience of project managing complex creative campaigns: generating ideas, driving process and evaluating success. 

Highly numerate and analytical in regard to sales, audience data and budget management. 

An attention to detail that ensures their work is always of the highest standard and representative of marketing excellence. 

Excellent verbal and written communications skills. 

Creative problem solver and confident decision maker. 

Experience of working in media communications (preferably within an arts environment, but certainly not critical).
