Entry Level - Novo Arts, an art consultancy, is seeking a full-time ''Assistant to Project manager'' and ''Executive Assistant''. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR PROJECT MANAGER ASSISTANT (Full-Time PAID):

-Assisting in the management of projects from beginning to completion
-Drafting project proposals
-Researching and selecting images for the design process
-Working alongside the graphic design and studio teams throughout the creative process
-Contacting vendors and communicating closely with clients (the main point of contact)
-Coordinating art fabrication and installation for designated projects

General Qualifications: 

-Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite 
-Must be detail-oriented and be able to multi-task 
-Must have excellent communication skills 
-Background in Art history, Studio Art or related field is required 
-Experience with business administrative processes and proposal development is a plus 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR EXECUTIVE/ PERSONAL ASSISTANT (Full-Time PAID):

- reading, monitoring and responding to the principal's email,
- answering calls and handling queries,
- preparing correspondence on the principal's behalf,
- commissioning work on the principal's behalf,
- liaising with staff, clients, etc.,
- managing the principal's electronic schedule,
- booking meetings,
- organizing travel and preparing complex travel itineraries,
- attend meetings on your boss's behalf /taking notes
- planning, organizing and managing the principal's events,
- conducting research on the internet,
- writing reports, executive summaries, and newsletters,
- preparing presentations,
- preparing papers for meetings,
- managing and reviewing filing and office systems,
- updating new inquiries list,
- typing documents,
- sourcing and ordering office supplies & equipment,
- managing projects,

Qualifications: 
- self-motivated and takes initiative to get tasks at hand completed 
- organized
- a good communicator
- IT literate; proficient in Microsoft Office, FileMaker Pro
- must be detail-oriented, organized and be able to multi-task 
- must have excellent communication skills 
- art history/ studio art background preferred 

Commitment: 5 days a week (M-F), hours between 9am-5pm not opposed to possibly staying a little later.

College students and recent grads with a concentration in studio arts and art history are encouraged to apply.
