Smithy Clay Studio Manager – Full Time

The Smithy Clay Studio is seeking a studio manager.  Candidate must have a BFA in ceramics or equivalent experience.  Candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills, show initiative, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.  Teaching experience and knowledge of wheel throwing and hand building techniques is preferred.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to: programming development, clay and glaze preparation, kiln firing and maintaining a safe studio environment.  A successful candidate will be compensated for teaching courses separately and in addition to the base salary.
