Classical music series (non-profit) is looking for the administrative/personal assistant to the founder. Responsibilities: Administrative tasks including travel, reservations, event planning, processing expense reports, etc. Personal tasks including tending to in-house matters and daily errands Event planning including coordinating logistics for classical music and personal projects Event assisting Correspondence and customer support management including drafting and handling emails, answering phone calls Managing travel itineraries, hotel bookings, and miscellaneous travel arrangements for visiting musicians. Preparing PowerPoint presentations. Researching specific music-related and art-related projects.Liaising with artists (including contracts revision), agents, venues, and equipment suppliers. Bookkeeping: payroll and bill payments. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and 2 years administrative experience Outstanding organizational ability and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously Knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint, Mailchimp is a plus Bilingual in Russian is a plus Knowledge of and/or interest in classical music and arts Event management experience is a plus The initial offer during trial period of three months is $20 per hour. The offer is part-time (either 2-3 full days per week, or 3-4 hours M-F). The ideal candidate has a degree or diploma (or is a grad student) in humanities/arts/event management.
