As Marketing/Events Coordinator you will work closely with the marketing managers on the planning, coordination, and execution of collateral, integrated marketing campaigns, partnerships and events. You will report into the Marketing Director of North America and liaise regularly with approximately 30 of our  specialist departments located throughout our New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco offices. This role also works with key functional roles including Press, Design, and Finance.

 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain a close working relationship with the US marketing managers and additional key stakeholders and specialist departments to ensure business goals are met and campaigns are launched on time.
  • Help to implement all marketing campaigns for allocated departments, liaising with Marketing Managers, Marketing Director, and our external media agency.
  • Campaigns include both print and digital and are supported with regular content creation around lots in our sales. 
  • Support US social media activity on the Bonhams corporate account, following a calendar and brand guidelines.
  • Support marketing managers on reporting and tracking of consignment and sale campaigns.
  • Help to organize and execute departmental events in our US salerooms liaising with our vendors.
  • Events consist of cocktail receptions, panel discussions, and small-scale luncheons and dinners for clients.
  • Liaise with key external partners, e.g. media/digital agencies, videographers, photographers, print and mailing house suppliers, and events vendors.
  • Support the team with the input, organization, and tracking of design and email workflows and their production. 
  • Manage, track, and record a high volume of invoices for the US marketing department via our internal systems.
  • In addition to the tasks and responsibilities listed, you may be required to perform other duties as assigned by your Manager.

 

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and 1-2 years previous experience in a similar position
  • Highly organized, creative thinker, and self-starter
  • You will have strong proof reading and editing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator
  • Experience managing online marketing campaigns, desirable
  • Ability to work towards meeting tight deadlines
  • Works well under pressure
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good understanding of art and luxury arena, or desire to learn
