A boutique NYC concert, film, tv & pop music publishing and artist management company seeks a full-time Royalty & Licensing Assistant with 1- 2 years of music publishing or record label experience.  The primary responsibilities will involve incoming & and outgoing statement processing and income tracking but will also span into licensing and administrative support for artist management activities. 

Core Responsibilities: 
Processing of incoming royalty statements from a variety of sources including record labels, sub publishers, and streaming service platforms 
Generation of outgoing quarterly client royalty statements 
Royalty reconciliation and Income tracking 
Catalog registration with societies, sub publishers, and the copyright office 

Additional Responsibilities:
Some administrative support to senior management relating to artist/catalog promotional efforts and business accounts.
Assist with catalog licensing 

Skills:
A general understanding of music publishing and copyright
Aptitude for Excel and data analysis 
Ability to conduct research independently and effectively and to present concise analysis
Knowledge of and interest in concert / film / tv music and composers 
Organized and detail-oriented
1-2 years of relevant experience 

Pluses:
Familiarity with Music Maestro, Filemaker Pro, CWR, Copyright as pertains to music licensing
