Assistant/Associate Professor of Theatre Design

Description

Theatre Faculty Member with an expertise in all areas of Theatrical Design including Costume, Lighting, and Scenic Design.

Duties

This position will teach classes specific to the Design & Theatrical Production track in the BFA program. Courses could include: Costume Design, Lighting Design, Scenic Design and Makeup Design areas. Advise & mentor undergraduate theatre students. Be involved in university activities such as faculty meetings, committee meetings, retreats & chapel.

Education & Experience Requirements

Masters of Fine Arts in Theatrical Design, Experience in Designing Theatrical Productions.

Evaluation of candidates will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. ORU requires a background check as a condition for faculty employment.
