Salary:​ £17,000 pro rata

Background:​ ​East Street Arts is an organisation which focuses on contemporary artists. Its aims are to offer space, opportunities, services and resources to artists and those working with artists, supporting the development of a strong visual arts infrastructure locally and nationally.

Job summary: ​As part of the space for artists team, the post will be responsible for all transactions needed to secure property, this includes coordinating the utilities, rates, leases and keeping accurate files. The space for artists team manages a large portfolio of buildings and this post will ensure all transactions are dealt with efficiently and timely.

Key duties

●  Act as the main contact for all new and existing utility accounts to ensure accurate and cost effective billing is provided efficiently

●  Support the space for artists team and attend internal and external meetings where appropriate.

●  Ensure database of property is kept up-to-date and supply data when requested.

●  Liaise with local authorities, property agents and landlords on issues with rate relief, payments and donations.

●  Act as the main contact for all utility bill queries, transfer bills into our name, ensure all meters are read and up-to-date.

●  Work with the team to ensure all leases are signed, recorded and up-to-date.

●  Support the team with data for monthly and annual monitoring and reporting to board and senior members of staff.

company in relation to financial management and personnel

records.
