Art Gallery Intern

Pablo's Birthday is seeking a part-time intern to work in tandem with the galleries co-directors in all aspects of gallery operation. 

Examples of tasks and duties include maintaining administration of the gallery data base, archiving, assisting in promotion, maintaining contacts and mailings, social media, developing promotional strategies, interacting with artists, preparing exhibtions, shipping, attending and organizing receptions, among other responsibities.

The position gives  a hands on experience of the nuts and bolts of running a contemporary art gallery.

We are looking for an ambitious, organized, and driven person who is task oriented. The suitable applicant is able to commit to specific days.

The position is for 2-3 days a week. Hours 11-6 with some flexibility available regarding how many hours per day depending on applicants availability.
