The RealReal is looking for individuals who have the ability to work with very discriminating clientele and have a passion for luxury product. The Business Development Representative must be a great communicator with a strong conviction for success. You will have the opportunity to qualify prospects and help sell an amazing service that customers love. Along the way, you'll work with exceptionally bright people all in an exciting start-up environment.
- Call and makes initial contact with prospects; determines or enhances prospects level of interest in TRR
- Source new sales opportunities of lawyers, bankers and fiduciaries through outbound prospecting activities including engagement campaigns by phone, email and text.
- Develop and nurture leads through regular communication via phone and email; responds to inbound sales inquiries from prospective clients
- Evaluate prospects against established criteria
- Works with Marketing and Sales teammates to develop new ways of building potential business
- Manage and track leads using CRM systems while maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
- Distill the essence of our service in easy-to-understand terms and communicate to various prospective clients The RealReals value proposition
- Background in auction houses, Trust and Estates industry or galleries.
- Great phone demeanor and professionalism.
- Ability to communicate clearly, listen thoroughly and respond quickly.
- Must be familiar with the Luxury marketplace, particularly home and art.
- Possesses a strong attention to detail
- Organized and punctual
- Able to think quickly on their feet and respond to prospect rebuttals
- Great computer skills and written skills
- Ability to function in a high-velocity iterative environment
- Ability to achieve and maintain individual goals

- Bachelors Degree or similar experience
