Summer Intern

20- 25 hours a week, Thursday through Monday generally 1-6 but somewhat flexible

The Gallery has been operating for 21 years, and has hosted interns most summers .  The intern will get experience curating and hanging shows, supporting the online marketing effort, answering phones, moving paintings, prepping for opening receptions, and perhaps some experience writing and interacting with clients and artists. We are also willing to show the intern the inside scoop on how the economics of an operating gallery works.  The candidate will have a background and/or a deep passion for art and art history, good writing skills, will be social media savvy, as well as interested in interacting with the artists and if all goes well, the clients.
