Portraits 2022 | International Juried Painting Competition

Open call to artists for Camelback Gallery's annual Portraits Painting Competition. We are accepting submissions of artwork that represents people and/or persons as a portrait painting with any artistic freedom of style. Jurors will be looking for Quality of work and Technical Skill.

Mediums to be considered but not limited to: Oil, Acrylic, Pastel, Watercolor, Encaustic, Mixed Media, Scratchboard, Gouache, Airbrush, Pen, Ink, Pencil, Charcoal, Graphite, Markers, Colored Pencil, Fiber, Collage.  No digital or sculpture for this competition.

2022 IAA Awards in Drawing | International Medium Category Awards

Camelback Gallery seeks entries for DRAWING ARTWORK into the 2022 IAA Awards by medium category competition. Mediums to be considered but not limited to: Pen, ink, pencil, charcoal, graphite & markers.  All STYLES & ALL SUBJECT MATTER allowed.  Awards include: 1st through 10th place, cash awards top 3, Finalist Awards, Virtual Award Exhibition, Social Media Promotion, E-blast Announcement, 2022 IAA Award Certificate and top 10 Award Video.

Land and Sea 2022 | International Juried Visual Arts Competition

Open to all artists 18 years and older. Suggestions for subject matter for this competition would be: water, lakes, rivers, oceans, forest, mountains, land, boats, buildings, piers, structures, farm equipment, homesteads, streets, highways, bridges etc. The jurors will be looking for originality, quality of work and technical skill. 

Mediums to be considered but not limited to: Colored Pencil, Encaustic, Mixed Media, Gouache, Oil, Acrylic, Pastel, Watercolor, Airbrush, Fiber, Sculpture, Collage, Digital Art and Photography.

My Best Work of 2021 | International Juried Visual Arts Competition

Open to all artists 18 years and older for our final competition of the year! My Best Work of 2021 Visual Arts Competition. Artist please submit current artwork created in 2021. The theme for this event is OPEN.  Please present to us what you feel is the best work your created this year! All traditional mediums allowed including oil, acrylic, gouache, watercolor, pastel, fiber & mixed media, digital art, photography and sculpture.

“Bird Houses and Nests”

CALL TO ARTISTS

“Bird Houses and Nests” Exhibition September 26th – January 3rd, 2021

SculptureTucson (ST) and Tucson Botanical Gardens (TBG) are hosting a joint exhibition of outdoor sculpture related to “Bird Houses and Nests.”

All work will be on display in outdoor garden spaces, so artists are encouraged to create work that is large-scale in size.  While there is no maximum size restriction, works smaller than 5 feet high will not be considered, unless the piece is mounted on a base, and the entire sculpture plus base is equal to 5 feet.  Sculptures must be secured to the base.

The Gateway International Painting Competition

The Gateway International Painting Competition is a juried monthly and annual online painting competition at PaintingContest.Org, open to artists world wide over 18 years old. Comprised of 12 separate monthly competitions within an annual competition, it  begins the first day of each month and ends 11:59 pm the last day of each month, Arizona USA time, spanning August 1st to July 31st the following year.
