Tangent Projects Studio Residency

Tangent Projects studios

We are very excited to announce that we are accepting applications for our studio residency programme for 2024/25 - The deadline for applications is January 19th, 2024.

Residencies are for 3 months and the placements will be between:

September - December 2024

We welcome applications from national and international artists, and we encourage applications from artists/creatives working in all different media. We do not limit the type of work submitted and are open to interesting ideas and suggestions, within the realm of our capabilities.

All applicants must be adults, over the age of 18.

We are an underfunded not for profit and our residencies are self funded. The price of the residency is 140 euros per month.

Art Studio available in the center of the cultural area of Barcelona.

Hi Everybody!!

We have 2 spots available for artists in our studio. Is a creative lab in a very bright 120 mq penthouse, located in Poble Nou, hearth of the cultural area of Barcelona, the first space is 8 mt2 perfect for a painter that works in small format, video artist, illustrator, graphic artist, photographer, fashion designer, or similar, the other space is 20 mt2 great for all the activites I mentioned previously but also perfect for painter or artist that need a bigger space. Also there is large table available with the possibility of organizing workshops.

There is alaso a chance to rent the whole space (120 mt2) in this case please ask for further information.

The studio has couple common area with kitchen office and area to rest. Internet.

In the framework of CARE ECOLOGIES 2023-2025

NOSYMMETRIES is a research project which will open up a variety of artistic processes linked to issues which are pertinent to three spheres in which social inequality takes a number of forms. The open call will seek out three projects to collaborate with a guest working group previously invited on account of its career-path and its socio-political involvement in grassroots projects and issues which tackle inequality.

R.A.R.O. BARCELONA AIR OPEN CALL – SPRING – SUMMER 2024

R.A.R.O Barcelona offers an itinerant Artists In Residence program that allows artists to create in the different studios that are part of the R.A.R.O. network in Barcelona.

Each artist can work in a minimum of two studios for the period of the residency, deepening in different techniques, according to the project that they are aiming to develop.
R.A.R.O. also offers spaces to work in Curatorial Projects, Theater and Performance arts, as well as ceramics and textile art.

During the residency, artists may show their work to the local public, get in contact with local artists, curators and collectors among other art related enthusiasts. At the end of the residency, artists would have the opportunity to show their final work either as an Open studio or exhibition.
