Call for Artists & Art Teachers | 798 International Children Art Festival

Country:

City:

798 ICAF is China’s biggest children’s art festival, held annually and based in the world-renowned 798 Art District in Beijing. This year we’re expanding in a big way, with festivals planned in several cities across China, as well as launching our online arts platform for kids to engage with and learn from international artists all year round! Check out the video of 798 ICAF 2014 here:http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XOTIzMTk3NjQw.html

Over the course of the festival, children are encouraged to explore their creativity using a variety of media with guidance from established artists from all over the world. Our mission is to build an intercultural learning platform for children to explore art, enjoy creativity and have the opportunity to exhibit their work.

We’re currently seeking artists from all over the world to collaborate with for 798 ICAF’s online art platform, providing kids access to art workshops, inspiration and interaction with international artists all year-round. As a 798ICAF featured artist, you’ll get paid to lead workshops based on your own art practice via live video streaming or pre-recorded video content, from the comfort of your own studios! Which means, you can be based anywhere in the world and still get involved with 798 ICAF! In addition, you could also be invited (all expenses paid) to travel to China and attend one of the 798 ICAF festival events to lead workshops on-site!

Right now we’re busy preparing the 798 ICAF website, ready for launch in the summer. But the search for artists has already begun! So, artists everywhere, get in touch now to be part of our art education revolution! Email marianabaptista798icaf@gmail.com for more info now.
