Secrets of the forest

For our last exhibition of the year, we are looking for artists based in Berlin who work with natural elements or whose work revolves around nature and especially forest. As this will be a multimodal exhibition, we look forward to applications from artists from all disciplines, especially those who work in unconventional media. The artworks will be chosen in a way that they complement each other and represent artists’ collective impression of forest and encourage one’s sense of adventure.

BBA Artist Prize 2023

Applications are now open. The BBA Artist Prize 2023 awards international artists irrespective of their background with several Prizes incl. a solo show, cash prizes and much more. The competition includes a group exhibition of the shortlisted artists at the iconic Kühlhaus Berlin, one of the city’s most favoured venues for arts and culture events and a newspaper interview with Deeds. News. The BBA Artist Prize is a major event for contemporary art in Berlin and during Gallery Weekend.

"Who you are"

Chromart Project Space invited artists based in Berlin to submit their work for our upcoming exhibition "who you are".
This exhibition explores the limits between Identity and free choices.
Some identities we attach ourselves are not indeed who we are. They are masks that do not reflect our true selves. We put labels to make a meaningful sense of our labelness existence, and we let those labels define who we are.
We are born with no set presumptions. None of us comes to this world pre-categorized. We are born free to make the choice we want to make.

Scope BLN Artists-in-Residence Berlin

Scope BLN – Artists-in-Residence (AiR) program is announcing an open call to artists working in all fields of contemporary arts.

Deadline – October 7th (Friday), 2022

The start of the program is in the second half of March / first half of April, 2023.

What does Scope BLN AiR offer?

- A single fully furnished room with bathroom

- Shared kitchen (with one other artist)
- A working studio
- Guidance in exploring Berlin and its art scene - Co-working sessions with the AiR director

- Possibility of presentations, short-term projects and implementation of workshops in Scope BLN Cinema Room

"Identity in Culture"

Our identities are enlightened and influenced by a surfeit of factors. Social media, politics, technology, and social reform, among so many other attributes, make up various elements of each of our idiosyncratic and multifaceted selves. How have such factors influenced your selfhood? Why did this affect you in the way it did? What is something that had a more profound effect on yourself looking back on your journey than you realized? How have the arts affected, influenced, or encouraged your developing self-identity?

BBA Photography Prize & Berlin Photo Week 2022

The BBA Photography Prize & Berlin Photo Week awards international photographers irrespective of their background with several Prizes incl. large digital show @BerlinPhotoWeek  Arena Berlin , Cash Prize up to 1500 euros , Large Group exhibtion &  solo show & more.  A jury of  independend experts and Berlin Photo Week Jury  will choose the most inovatiev works. Photographers can enter between 1-15 images. BBA gallery will feature the best applications through their social media profiles and website daily as PICK OF THE DAY !
