City of Wonder

National Science and Media Museum and Bradford 2025, UK City of Culture are looking for a creative studio, experienced designer, digital artist or collective, to lead the creative development and installation of an internationally significant interactive digital experience in Gallery One (310sqm) of the National Science and Media Museum, Bradford.

This £550,000 new commission opportunity, called City of Wonder, will explore sound and vision technologies that have changed how we experience our physical and virtual worlds. Audiences will be invited to play with and be inspired by the wonder of the digital world.

Sculpture Trail at Saltaire Festival Open Gardens

We are looking for artists working in any 3D medium suitable for external display to show work in one of around twelve small garden spaces.
This two-day event is a a major element of the Festival Opening Weekend
Because of the nature of the Grade II listed architecture in the village, most spaces are small - many no more than enclosed back-yards, so the event is suitable for sculptural ceramics and glass as well as sculpture.
Work may be for sale, and the footfall for the event is very good.
There is a small fee to selected artists of £20 to contribute to publicity and administration costs for this volunteer-run event, but no commission is taken on sales.
