OPEN CALL FOR CURATOR-IN-RESIDENCE 2020 - 2021

KUNSTRAUM is excited to announce our Curator-in-Residence (CIR) program. 
The CIR will be directing KUNSTRAUM’s gallery program for 12 months – be able to develop and present their vision, and to expand and spotlight their curatorial practice in the New York art world. The goal of the CIR program is to facilitate exhibitions and events to engage our community while also encouraging invited curators, artists, and other guests to collaborate, think critically, and take risks in their practices. The CIR residency starts June 2020.

OPEN CALL at OyG Projects: Two Solo Exhibitions

Ortega y Gasset Projects is pleased to announce an Open Call for TWO Solo Exhibitions to open in September of 2020: one in the main gallery space at OyG and one in The Skirt, OyG's dedicated space for site-specific installation.

Both opportunities will include an opening reception on Saturday, September 12, 2020, $400 honorarium for each artist/proposal, and one programmed event (an artist talk or a closing event), and will be promoted on OyG social media outlets. OyG Co-Directors will work with the artists and make studio visits leading up to the opening of the exhibitions, if possible. The artists are required to fully participate in the exhibitions' installation and deinstallation.

At The Art Fair charges no commission and does not participate of any sale transactions.

Trestle Art Space Residency Program Spring 2020

The Residency Program at Trestle Art Space is a 6-month, advisor-led studio residency designed to support emerging artists who seek professional development, critical feedback, and community while they find a foothold in the New York art world. Centered around professional and personal growth, program sessions and advisor mentorship provide practical tools to guide residents towards a successful career in the arts. Offering exhibition, open studio, and speaking opportunities, the program is meant to increase the visibility and profile of residents by providing a platform to present their work to the public.

 

Professional Development:

Desks for Rent in DUMBO Office with Doc Society

We have a total of four desks available as an office share with our New York Doc Society team. Based in DUMBO of the F, A/C trains, with access to the ferry, our office is in a great location and offers great views of Manhattan. In the summer you'll have access to a great roof deck. 

You will have access to a standing desk, chair, our wifi and other office tech, kitchen and soundproof telephone booth for private calls. We also have a top notch video conferencing system.

We are looking for

  • minimum 2 desk rental
  • minimum 3 month lease
  • Ideal move-in date March 1
  • must be comfortable with dogs

Pricing is $380 per desk, per month. Security deposit of one month due upon move in.
