For centuries Artists have been the scribes of humanity, expressing what is happening both in the world around them and in their unique inner landscapes. 2020 was an unprecedented year worldwide marked by a pandemic, as well as cultural, political and racial divisions. 2020 may possibly be seen as paradigm shift going forward. How is our rapidly changing world shaping the art you create? Please submit current work that expresses your experience of this extraordinary time.

Calling artists in all mediums to submit images and works responding to these “Unprecedented” times. (No entries larger than 48″x48″ or heavier than 50 lbs., please). The show will be juried by Melinda Cootsona.

Palm Springs Art and Decor Show

Palm Springs Art + Decor Show will launch on April 17 & 18, 2021 in the culturally rich and affluent city of Palm Springs, California. The show coincides with Modernism Week when collectors come to the desert to celebrate all things mid century. We invite you to apply to our outdoor show, which will allow exhibitors to gain access to this exclusive market while remaining safe as we adhere to Covid-19 protocols.

Juried "BASL" Group Exhibition

Voss Gallery is accepting entries for "BASL (Bay Art Seekers Lounge)," a group exhibition dedicated to amplifying the diverse voices of the Bay Area’s creative community. Submit up to three works that best represent your signature artistic style; all themes and subject matter welcome. A ‘Juror’s Choice’ award and two honorable mentions will be selected by guest juror, Cecilia Chia. The exhibition is on view December 2, 2020 - January 31, 2021. An award ceremony and exhibition preview with the juror will be held virtually on Instagram Live (@vossgallery) on Thursday, December 3rd, 6-7PM PST. Overview:The San Luis Obispo Museum of Art (SLOMA) will be hosting A Digital Art Salon from September 4–November 1, 2020, in partnership with the Digital Art Group, an affiliated artist group of SLOMA. This juried exhibition will feature the diverse artwork being created by contemporary California digital artists.

Romancing the Adobes- Call for Artists

Overview: This California-wide juried exhibition features artworks celebrating the historic California Adobes and the Californio lifestyle. Artists are welcome to explore whatever subject matter they wish in regards to the Adobes. All 2D media is eligible, including, but not limited to, painting, drawing, photography, fiber art, and printmaking.

Over the Rainbow: LGBTQ Group Show

Gallery 1202 is soliciting submissions for its 2nd group show,  #OvertheRainbow. The show will be held from May 15-June 26, 2020. Alternative mediums are encouraged, maximum dimensions are 5’x5’x5.’ One artist will be chosen for a solo show in 2021 at Gallery 1202.  The show will be featured online on our website, and on our Artsy page where the works will be for sale, if the artist wishes. 

Goal

We would like to create this as exhibition to be as inclusive as possible to all artists who identify as queer or non-binary, who work in mediums not typically seen as traditional, but who are a master of their materials.   We seek high-quality works of art, from emerging to mid-career artists who are passionate about their subject, whatever it may be.
