Bay Area Photography Open Exhibition 2025

The Image Flow is proud to announce its inaugural Bay Area Photography Open exhibition, a juried call for entry that seeks to showcase the exceptional creative talent of photographic artists in the extended Bay Area region.

From digital images to alternative processes, and everything in between, this exhibition is open to all styles and disciplines that utilize a photographic element. This will be an open theme show; all subject matter and media explorations are eligible for consideration (with the exception of AI-generated images).

Request for Qualifications: West Harbor Waterfront Public Art

The West Harbor Waterfront Development located at the Port of Los Angeles, is currently seeking proposals for public art installations in 2024 and 2025. A joint venture between San Pedro-based Jerico Development and Ratkovich Company, the development will eventually include more than 350,000 square feet of shops, restaurants, outdoor amphitheater, and public art installations on a 42-acre site along the LA Waterfront. 

Yosemite Renaissance 37 Competition and Exhibition

The call to artists for the 37th annual Yosemite Renaissance Art Exhibit and Competition is OPEN, closing on November 28nd 2021.

The exhibit showcases works related to Yosemite National Park and the California Sierra Nevada region.  For over 150 years, artists have played an important role in the establishment of our state and national parks, inspiring people to visit iconic natural sites, and to protect our parks, wild lands and natural resources. Yosemite Renaissance is dedicated to this ideal.

California Black Voices Project

Grant funding opportunity for Black artists or curators in California to create or curate artwork(s) for an exhibition at Minnesota Street Project.

Minnesota Street Project Foundation invites Black artists or curators in California to create original artwork(s) or an exhibition. The program’s vision is to recognize and reward the exceptional work of Black artists and curators in California. The five chosen grantees will receive $10,000 and be provided space at the 1275 Minnesota Street Project Galleries to feature their newly developed works. All work will also be presented on Adjacent, Minnesota Street Project’s newest virtual viewing space for art.

PROUD+

PROUD+ 2020 is the third national edition of visual arts exhibition running from July 3 – 25, 2020 at The Studio Door(San Diego, CA). The exhibition runs concurrent with San Diego Pride month.  Includes "in gallery" and "online only" exhibition choices.

An artist reception is scheduled for July 11th, 2020 at 6 – 9 PM.

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual and other community artists (LGBTQIA+) are encouraged to present contemporary works that celebrate the unique sense of pride that this diverse community has.  The Studio Door is seeking artwork that expresses authentic, diverse viewpoints from the LGBTQIA+ experience.  Show us what your Pride looks like.
