Post-COVID-19 Era

In the 21st century, the outbreak of the COVID-19 has wholly disrupted humankind's usual order of life and state of survival. Its influence continues to expand, and the changes caused in all aspects will become more and more prominent.

The future is here. In the post-COVID-19 era, what kind of society will we live in? As an artist, how do you view our existence? How do you understand our relationship with the world?

Tao Hua Tan 6th International Artists Residency

We have the pleasure to inform you that the 6th International Artist Retreat and residence workshop will take place in Tao Hua Tan, Anhui Province, China, from May 10th thru May 28th, 2020. As decided by the organizers, about 30 artist from China, and from different countries of the world, will be invited to participate. The participating artists will be selected by the organizer's curators:

Gordan Novak owner of Novak Graphics Inc. printmaking studio and publisher from Admiral, Saskatchewan, Canada

Liu Jian, artist, art consultant and curator from Toronto, Canada and Beijing China

or proposed by the art-world professionals (art critics, galleries, museum curators, university lecturers...).

Untitled Space 2020 Residency Fellowship

Since launch in October 2017, Untitled Space Artist in Residence has hosted more than 70 artists from China and all around the world. To encourage more young artists to experience residency, Untitled Space announces its first-ever Residency Young Artists Fellowship Project.

About Untitled Space Artist in Residence Program

Untitled Space AiR encourages both young artists to continue their practice upon graduation and practicing artists to be keep inspired. Untitled Space AiR aims at providing an ideal creative and living environment for all artists. Opens to all contemporary artists throughout the year (except February),  during the residency, artists are encouraged to create a new body of work, engage in conversation with artists from Mainland China and around the world.
