2027 Revealed Emerging Artist Solo Exhibition Series

The Sculpture Center is seeking applicants for its 2027 Revealed Emerging Artist Solo Exhibition Series through an open call for artists.

Emerging artists in the first ten years of their career who have a demonstrated practice in sculpture, installation, mixed or expanded media, including conceptual and socially engaged work. This opportunity is open to emerging artists from the greater Ohio region, including Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, western Pennsylvania, western New York, and Ontario, Canada. Artists are eligible by birth, residency, or education, and do not need to currently reside in the region to apply.

BorderLight Fringe Festival 2026 – Call for Artists!

Applications are now open for the BorderLight Fringe Festival 2026, returning to Cleveland’s Playhouse Square District July 8–11, 2026. The BorderLight Fringe showcases self-produced work by local, national, and international artists across all genres — theatre, movement, music, performance art, immersive experiences, and more.

Participating artists receive 60% of ticket revenue for ticketed shows, or an artist stipend for free and site-specific performances. BorderLight provides venue, box office, marketing, and technical support to help artists focus on their work.

Revealed awards artists in the first ten years of their career the opportunity to create work for a solo show. This is a funded exhibition. An artist honorarium and travel stipend will be provided.

Morgan Artists-In-Residents

The Morgan's Artist in Residence (AIR) program is funded by the Windgate Foundation to offer emerging and established artists working with papermaking, book arts, and printing to explore focused projects in our facilities. As a working studio, gallery, gathering place for the community, educational hub, and purveyor of some of the finest handmade papers in the world, the Morgan offers AIR a variety of ways to grow their practice and build strong connections with the community.

 

Artists accepted into the program will receive stipend amounts, 24-hour access to Morgan facilities, and more! 

 

 

Ohio Quilt Mural

Based in Canada, Foxquilt is an Insurance technology company focused on empowering small businesses to save on Business Insurance. This Spring, we’ll be launching our services in Ohio - Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Akron - to continue innovating insurance so it’s easier, simpler and faster for more small business owners in North America.  We’re looking for a local artist in each of the following cities: Akron, Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati to paint a mural of a quilt to showcase their amazing small business community!  The mural should depict a quilt with the logos of local businesses. Each business will be featured in its own patch; together, all the patches help create the quilt!
