The “Women in Art Biennale London " - London, England is a contemporary art award dedicated to emerging and established artists and offers you the opportunity to exhibit your art by taking part in the Artio Gallery in London, England from September 25th - September 29th; Winners of the contest will have the opportunity to exhibit their artwork at our show.

Application Deadline: March 15th, 2024

Exhibition Benefits:

All applicants will be featured in an online exhibit, running for one year on our website.

10 Winners will be selected amongst the applicants to participate with one original artwork.

Hesketh Hubbard Bursaries | CLOSING SOON

Free life drawing classes for a year!
Submissions are free of charge and open until Friday 3 November 2023.

The bursaries offer:

– The opportunity to attend weekly life drawing sessions at Mall Galleries free of charge for a year, starting from January 2024.

– Untutored sessions take place on Friday evenings and selected Monday evenings, between 6:00pm and 8:15pm. (Understandably there might be times when artists are unable to attend sessions, however frequent absences may result in the bursary being withdrawn).

Martes Moon Art Gallery - Open Call - Exhibition Opportunity 

Calling artist in the area of Painting, Drawing or mixed media, and small format Sculpture. from Lancashire and vicinity areas, and from anywhere as long you can send or bring your work.

The theme of the exhibition is open however the title is, Concept and Mean , work the connect to the title trough a concept or mean already existing or invented by you, are welcome.

Calling early career artists and collectives!

We are now accepting proposals for exhibitions at Orleans House Gallery.  

Our Emerging Artists programme (September 2023 – June 2024) is for those establishing a career, focussing on creatives within the first 10 years of their practice. Through this programme we want to understand how we can support artists in sustaining themselves in the early stages of their work.  

All propositions are welcome, across visual and contemporary arts.  For this year’s programme there is a fee of £1000 to support artists in developing necessary documents for the exhibition, site visits, and install and de-install days. There is also a production support budget of £500.

Applications are now open for the AIR Open 2023; our 6th annual summer show. Open to any artists working in any medium, the only restriction is we want to see your best work! Up to £1000 in cash prizes to be won plus associate memberships, solo exhibitions, gallery representation and art materials. PLUS your chance to get your work to the Manchester Contemporary Art Fair 2023. £5 per piece to enter, max 3 works.

We're open for entries to the 30th edition of Sheffield DocFest!
We welcome documentary films of all lengths, from shorts to features, from documentary makers across the world. We screen over 130+ films from over 50 countries across the world. We're interested in seeing work from emerging, independent and established filmmakers.
