HOME

The Rocky Neck Art Colony (RNAC) invites artists to submit work for inclusion in home [hohm] n., v., adj., advan open juried exhibition at the Cultural Center and online at RNACexhibitions.com.

What is home? The idea of home has many different connotations and possibilities. It can reference a structure, a state of mind and even an idea of being.  It is a noun, adjective, verb and adverb. We ask artists to explore the significance and role that home plays in our lives. How the spaces we inhabit represent ourselves, values, desires and cultures. Artists might consider the physical, psychological, environmental, political and spiritual implications of homes. All mediums accepted.

In Motion

The Rocky Neck Art Colony (RNAC) invites artists to submit work for inclusion in In Motion, an open juried exhibition at the Cultural Center at Rocky Neck, and online at RNACexhibitions.com. In recognition of our constantly changing visual world, this exhibition celebrates the myriad ways artists capture time and motion, both real and implied. We invite artists to submit anything that moves, whether kinetic sculpture, short films or animations, performance pieces, and including 2-dimensional works that convey the effect of motion. All media, including sound and light, will be considered, as exhibition space and technology allow. Juror: Kim Bernard
