Open Call: Abstract, Distortion & Fragmentation

From vivid colors and patterns to those who work in black and white or monochromatic approaches, Li Tang Gallery wants to invite artists who explore the areas of abstractions with no limitations on media. Taking from art's historical lineage or blazing new paths in the field of abstraction, Li Tang Gallery wants to include artists who find new ways to connect with audiences beyond the figurative.

Artists at any stage of their career are invited to submit their work for consideration by our guest jury Chun Hua Catherine Dong, Phil Zheng Cai and E.E. Jacks. The online group exhibition will be curated by the Li Tang team and promoted on Li Tang Gallery's website, social media, and press coverage in both the United States and China.

NYC4PA Call for Entry - WATER 2023

“Water under the bridge”, “Water water everywhere”

So many sayings reference water, songs as well.  Water, of late a critical concern in our environment, is so very central to much of our lives. In addition, it is beautiful to photograph. This call is about how you, the photographer, capture water. Is it a thundering waterfall? Is it glistening droplets from a puppy shaking itself off, a surfer caught in the curl, or a reflection in a city pond? Maybe you used a slow shutter to create the soft image of flowing water in a stream. Teardrops, raindrops, dew drops .... ice floes, waterfalls, rapids and serene lakes. The list goes on. Black and white, color, abstract - all 2D mediums are welcome.
