Il Varco is proud to host the 12th edition of Prisma Art Prize, in partnership with Contemporary Cluster, Biafarin, ArtRights, Artuu and Vivivacolors, Atelier Montez and ArtUp a quarterly art contest with €2000 yearly cash prize, more than €3000 in service prizes and the possibility to be exhibited at Contemporary Cluster gallery in Palazzo Brancaccio, Rome, in 2023, one of the most innovative art institutions in the international contemporary panorama.

The School for Curatorial Studies is an ambitious and challenging project promoted since 2004 and conceived as a school committed to experimentation and interdisciplinary thinking.

The main goals are to spread the knowledge in the field of visual arts and to introduce the students to the professions related to the art world, focusing on contemporary curatorial theory and practice and contemporary museology.

PASSEPARTOUT PHOTO PRIZE - 6TH EDITION - ROME

Passepartout Photo Prize aims to support the development of talented photographers from all over the world by awarding 1,000 euros in monetary prizes every year, organizing exhibition
in a fine art gallery in the heart of Rome, publication in the annual catalogue as well as in our partners’ magazines, and providing other opportunities for international exposure.

What makes our contest unique is that we collaborate with various professionals in the contemporary art and photography industries. Our jury is a diverse blend of photographers, editors, gallerists, curator and educators that bring kaleidoscopic perspectives into our selection process.

Terre da Film Festival - Open Call 2023

Terre da Film is a place where people meet up to live an experience through cinema, art and more. Every summer artists, filmmakers, poets, students, tourists and locals live for a few days in the town of Canelli to create a unique temporary community.

Next edition will be during the first two weekends of July. We are looking for films for our screens and people to meet.

In 2023 Edition Terre da Film will focus on the theme of THOUGHTS ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT.

How does a living being dwell and influence its own environment? How does an environment influence beings/organisms by which it is constituted of?
