CALL FOR ENTRIES: RESIDENCY LUCCA BIENNALE CARTASIA --- Outdoor – Indoor Paper Art

LUBICA - Lucca Biennale Cartasia is the most important event celebrating Paper as an artistic and architectural means worldwide. It takes place every two years in the city of Lucca, Tuscany. Founded in 2004, LUBICA made a pledge to promote tradition, culture, sustainability, and innovation. Its 12th edition will take place in 2024, marking 20 years of activity.

LUBICA aims at bringing together and offering inspiring new opportunities to artists who are looking for a challenge, want to “educate about beauty”, take care of the Other, and are willing to think outside the box to come up with new points of view.

Teatri Riflessi 8 | International Short Play Festival

At its 8th edition, Teatri Riflessi is an international festival held in Sicily, promoting the performing arts through the short play format. Theatre, Dance, and Performance are invited to inhabit the beautiful Sicilian landscape and compete for a chance to win the edition's prizes.

Ponza Land Art "Il giardino nel giardino"

ARTIST'S RESIDENCE The idea of the artist residence was born in the summer of 2022, thanks to the collaboration with the Ravenna sculptor Laura Pagliai who, fascinated by the botanical garden and the sea of Ponza, organizes an exhibition of her sculptures "en plein air" . The availability of Dr. Biagio Vitiello stimulates the idea of a fusion between the love of art and the passion for nature, the landscape and the island of Ponza, Italy. From this meeting was born the Ponza LandArt project, in its 1st edition in 2023, which aims to create an open-air museum of contemporary art that is enriched every year with new works, bringing together two not so distant worlds, art and nature.
