The competition’s aim is to promote the enrolled artists, giving them chance to join the 

international market of contemporary art.

ITSLIQUID Group, in collaboration with ACIT Venice – Italian-German Cultural Association and EGO’ Boutique Hotel, is pleased to announce the open call for the 11th Edition of CONTEMPORARY VENICE 2022, international exhibition of photography, painting, video art, installation/sculpture and performance art, that will be held in Venice, at Palazzo Albrizzi-Capello  from October 20 to November 10, 2022, at Palazzo Bembo from October 21 to November 10, 2022, and in other prestigious venues and historical buildings.

OPEN CALL: VISIO-European Programme on Artists’ Moving Images

Lo Schermo dell’Arte presents the eleventh edition of VISIO-European Programme on Artists’ Moving Images, a research, residency and production programme dedicated to artists who use moving images in their artistic practice.

The project, curated by Leonardo Bigazzi, will be held in Florence in conjunction with the 15th Lo Schermo dell’Arte – Cinema and Contemporary Art Festival (November 15 – 20, 2022). The 8 participants will be young European artists who work with moving images; they will be selected through an open call organised in collaboration with some of Europe’s leading art academies, schools and artist residencies. The deadline to apply is Friday, September 9, 2022.

The evolution of Western thinking lays the foundations of the relationship with the universe according to a philosophical and scientific vision, supported by the technological evolution of the past centuries, have provided answers and shaped the awareness of our being.
