Mountview MA in Site-Specific Theatre Practice

Mountview’s MA in Site-Specific Theatre Practice is provided in partnership with Shoreditch Town Hall. The first course of its kind in the UK, the MA is created and led by Geraldine Pilgrim, a leading practitioner in the creation of site-specific theatre and installations. The course is for students interested in highly specialised training across all elements of site-specific practice.

Learning will cover practical skills and creative realisation as well as theoretical and methodological investigation.

CALL FOR ART FILMS

Delete TV investigates the captivating nature of images with the specific aim to look up to new approaches by taking distance from the conventional film making method.

The program opens a window to the world of art and offers strong, wild and uncensored works from upcoming artists and film-makers. Delete TV highlights contemporary issues in a global context, highly educational and deeply focused on intercultural exchange and visibility.

Open Call: Take Back Control

Calling REMAIN and LEAVE Artists of all mediums across the UK, interested in responding to the role of ‘news’ during Brexit. "Take Back Control” will offer audiences a chance to relive the gut wrenching EU referendum through a display of national newspapers and share insights into UK press agendas. Successful artists will display their work alongside a large collection of newspapers from the week leading to the Brexit vote. You can apply with existing work as long as it’s on theme, we encourage both remain and leave artists to please apply!

Sunny Art Prize

The Sunny Art Prize is the first program outside of museological institutions and programs designed for artists that envisions the decentralisation of the art world as a way to broaden the horizons of both artists and the communities they engage with. It is a yearly art competition in the UK organised by the Sunny Art Centre with a selection of thirty artists who will take part in international activities, including exhibitions and a residency.

Call for Submissions - Sculpture in the City Ninth Edition

The call for submissions for the ninth edition of Sculpture in the City is now open for preexisting works that can be exhibited outdoors from May 2019 to May 2020.

Sculpture in the City is an award winning urban sculpture park which launches every summer. A cultural initiative delivered by the City of London in partnership with 13 local businesses, located in the heart of the insurance district (EC3), around the iconic architecture including the Gherkin, the Cheesegrater, Lloyd’s building and Leadenhall Market.
