Open Call X Edition of the International BETA PUBLICA Showcase

In the X EDITION of International BETA PUBLICA Showcase we continue to seek that the public, choreographers, dancers, cultural programmers, media, producers, and other participants are - physically and virtually - present in the creative processes of the selected pieces giving rise to new reflections and bringing together points of view that contribute to enriching the creative process.

YES TO ALL

SMTH in collaboration with MMMAD Festival are proud to present the II International Open Call for Digital Arts under the theme ‘Yes to all’  in Plenilunio Madrid and Vialia Estación de Vigo shopping centers. In this second edition, we are looking for digital artworks that experiment with the space and format where they will be exhibited: SMTH’s large scale screens located in several of the most important shopping centres in Spain. This call will be open from 1 September to 25 October 2022.

"Polysemy: Dual Meanings In Contemporary Art"

Polysemy is the phenomenon of a singular word or phrase holding multiple meanings. The Gala Exhibition visually grapples with meaning and symbolism as interpreted through artwork. The duality of man and the double entendres evident in nature, among other subjects highlight the way dual meanings can both contradict, intertwine and evolve to introduce new interpretations. Subjects of morality, aesthetics, and human nature will be highlighted with an aim to spark discussion, emotion, and contemplation.

Culturally Arts Collective invites you to submit your artwork to the 2022 Gala Exhibition. This call is open to all individuals or groups from any country, background, and education level.

CUVO Festival 2023 - [An]Ecstasy

 Are we in ecstasy or anesthetized?

The International Videoart Festival CUVO launches a new open call for his seventh edition titled “[An]Ecstasy”. This year we want to ponder about the abscence of pain in which philosopher Byung-Chul Han has called palliative societies. We are open to any creation regardles of format, technique or genre. We'll select eight of the most groundbreaking videoart works that will shape the travelling exhibition of the festival along 2023.
