The Curious World of Unusual Portraits

The Curious World of Unusual Portraits is a group photography exhibition to be held at Arabi Visual Arts during the PhotoNOLA Festival in New Orleans!  The works will be curated by gallery owner Christopher Ryan.

 

This is a truly unique photography exhibition which will be listed on the PhotoNOLA Festival website and map.  Aside from the unique images themselves, other unique features of the exhibition include our Acceptance Guarantee, Ease of providing Work, and the ease of dealing with unsold work.

DEADLINE EXTENDED: 27th Annual NO DEAD ARTISTS

JONATHAN FERRARA GALLERY is accepting artist submissions for the 27th Annual NO DEAD ARTISTS International Juried Exhibition. NO DEAD ARTISTS has been a springboard for numerous artists leading to national press coverage and recognition, art fair presentations, gallery representation, and acquisitions by museums and other prominent collections. The call has been extended till 26 JUNE 2023 and the exhibition participants are selected by an ever-changing group of three prestigious arts professionals.

For the 2023 jury, the JFG team has invited three previous participants in past years of the exhibition who remain represented artists of the gallery today.

The New Orleans Art Association announces a call to artists for its 2023 national exhibit, October 7-November 4, 2023 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Awards: 1st $2500, 2nd $1250, 3rd $750; honorable mentions; merit at judge’s discretion. Juror: Dawn Emerson, PSA. Judge: James Michalopoulos. Eligible media: Two dimensional work (paintings/drawings) of original design, concept, and execution. Produced by submitting artist (18 years of age or older) without supervision/instruction and completed within past 3 years. 27th Annual NO DEAD ARTISTS

JONATHAN FERRARA GALLERY proudly hosts the 27th iteration of our annual call for artists - NO DEAD ARTISTS: International Juried Exhibition of Contemporary Art. The call is open through 19 JUNE 2023 and the exhibition participants are selected by an ever-changing group of three prestigious arts professionals. The exhibition itself is installed in the gallery for the entire month of September with an opening reception in conjunction with the Arts District New Orleans’ First Saturday Gallery Openings in September 2023 from 6-9 pm.
