MADC's Collective Thread Open Submission Call

MODArts Dance Collective (MADC) is elated to announce its seventh annual dance festival, Collective Thread, on March 17-19, 2022 7:30 PM; Location: TBA + Livestream & On Demand Option. The open submission call for women/womxn identifying choreographers of color is now - 11:59 PM EST on Monday, January 31, 2022. There is a $10 application fee to submit one piece and $20 to submit two pieces. Please note that the $10/$20 application fee goes towards the performance venue and production costs. We are putting out a call to new members.

For forty-seven years, from Soho to Chelsea, Pleiades Gallery has spotlighted artistic movements and artists notable for creating work that crosses genres and borders, generational contexts and disciplines.

We seek out and welcome new members who continuously refresh our high standards and uphold and explore our vision.

Are you a Pleiades artist?

A spirit of commitment to its artists and their art has always been a cornerstone of the gallery. Throughout the year we host solo shows, curated group shows and juried shows.

Your work's image, your name and Instagram displayed at a prime location in SoHo, NYC.
Art call ends 1/22/22.  
Display dates 02/12 & 02/13/2022 *dates are tentative depending on covid restrictions.
 

Additional fees apply if your work is selected * NYC Artwalk is not a nonprofit*. Fees are necessary to design, produce and display images.
No original works will be displayed.

Exhibit your Art at the Oculus at the World Trade Center in NYC

There is a long tradition of the intersection of Art and Advertising worlds. Andy Warhol, Norman Rockwell, Rene Magritte and Edward Hopper are just a few of the famous artists who lived in both worlds.

AD ART SHOW was developed to discover the next generation of contemporary artists from Advertising, Design and related fields who are also Fine Artists and create Art outside of work ( painting, photography, mixed media, sculpture).

AD ART SHOW will take place on 22 monumental digital screens at the Oculus at Westfield World Trade Center for the whole month of May 2022, with over 100 artists exhibiting their Artwork digitally.
